Position Title: Finance Analyst

 Job duties:

Will be responsible for all inventory accounting functions. This position will partner with Warehouse Management, IT, Operations and other associates involved with the supply chain to ensure inventory is properly accounted for.

 

  • Analyze cost accounting data and ensure accurate inventory costing is being applied
  • Partner with Operations to ensure inventory reconciliations and variance research is being performed
  • Partner with our leadership team in planning all aspects of our business, preparing regular reporting and analysis, and understanding trends in our rapidly growing global marketplace.
  • Support forecasting and analysis of key transactional and revenue trends across all Verticals and Regions.
  • Coordinate and communicate regularly with cross-functional business partners such as Accounting, Business Intelligence, Operations to stay up to date on key external marketplace trends and internal data reconciliation processes.
  • Report to manager and play a key role in expanding revenue.
  • Assist in building out monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and gross profit forecasts
  • Support updating monthly Budget vs Actual performance files and key driver analysis
  • Support weekly updates to daily trade and revenue forecast shared with management
  • Support the design, implementation and maintenance of processes/systems that lead to increased controllership around revenue and forecasting
  • Assist in implementing new forecasting and budgeting tools
  • Prepare ad hoc models and analysis from scratch, supporting key business decisions

 

Requirement:

  1. Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. 1 year experience as an accountant or financial analyst
  3. ERP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Position Title: Operations Analyst

Job Duties:

Perform projects assigned by manager in management and operations problems; Collect data and analyze problems by using a computer to develop and interpret information that assists management staff with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions; Analyze data and select the most efficient method of solving problems.

  • Collaborate with Inventory Control supervisors to determine inventory strategies through the products’ life
  • Analyze and update demand forecasts using sales history, rate of sales, weeks of supply, safety stock and quality related issues to identify improvement
  • Perform weekly projections for web media through reviewing and analyzing color and size selling trends, and style return rates to prepare needed reports for analysis of updated inventory
  • Review Demand Analysis report to analyze sales trends and item performance to adjust future
  • Analyze stock to report and provide recommendations on backorders, cancelations, and lost
  • Identify overstocks and make recommendations for web clearance, and in season web promotions; and adjust retails to improve the sell down of overstock
  • Support in managing in-season inventory, balancing sales, margin, markdown, and sell-through
  • Calculate and monitor products defective rate find out what they're based on QC team can deal with the problem: cancellations, late shipments, miscommunication, and unmet expectations are all possibilities
  • Grow existing partnerships through continuous analysis of account performance and identify new opportunities for revenue growth
  • Work with Marketing teams to assemble cross-functional analysis and develop benchmark criteria for measuring online metrics
